November 19, 2003Oregon Launches License DatabaseThe state of Oregon now has a site devoted to licensing information at http://www.oregon.gov/lic/ . It's not really for searching for licensing per se; it's more about getting pointers to other search sources and information on licensing bodies. The top box is for general keyword searches. A search for engineer found two results, which contained the definition (for licensing purposes) of the license type, as well as a link to the online license lookup. There are other searches on the front page. You can browse licensing information by category (from agriculture to vehicles/drivers), and by agency (from Accountancy to Water Resources). There's also a brief list of other resources at the bottom of the page. Posted to US-Oregon | TrackBack
