The Top Yahoo Searches of 2003

Yahoo has released its most popular searches of 2003. They're available at http://search.yahoo.com/top2003 . Some of these are what you'd expect -- Harry Potter, American Idol, etc -- but there are some unusual categories here too.

There's the top diet searches list (Cabbage Soup diet?) as well as the top news searches list (Cloning beat out Hurricane Isabel.) There's a cute graphic showing the most-misspelled variation for Arnold Schwar -- Arnold Sch -- Arnold Schwaraza -- oh, the Governor of California. A chart shows which searches moved the fastest over the course of a year, and which news topics caused search spikes. (They're not always what you might expect.)
