DMOZ Featuring A Little Red Dot

The Open Directory, otherwise known as DMOZ.org, now has thumbnail previews on their Web site! To access them you'll have to look for the little red dot.

Start by visiting the Web site ( http://www.dmoz.org ) and pick a category. Close to the bottom of the page on the right you'll see a red dot and a green dot. Click on the red dot and the page will reload, only this time you'll see mini screen shots next to each listing. Clicking on the screen site or the title of the site will take you to that site.

Clicking on the green button will take you to the Google Directory equivalent of the Open Directory category page. It would be interesting to review some categories and see if a starred site in DMOZ corresponded to a high page rank in Google.
