Information On Passengers of the Titanic

If you're interested in the history of the Titanic, you can get a huge amount of information on the passengers and crew at the Encyclopedia Titanica ( http://www.encyclopedia-titanica.org/index.php ).

The site has a simple keyword search for information (but if you want to browse, wander all over the front page to get pointers to articles, crew and passenger information, etc.) A keyword search for Nelson found four people, listing their names and where they were on the ship (first class, third class, etc.) If they were crew their job is given. It appears that the italicized names were those who survived the sinking, while the non-italicized names are those who died.

Click on the name and you'll get additional information about the person, including how old they were when the Titanic sank, where they lived, when they boarded and how much their ticket cost, their destination, and (if they survived) when they died. Information varies for different listings. Sometimes even more information is included; I found pictures for some passengers. One particular listing, that for Master Frank John William "Frankie" Goldsmith, contains a photograph, and image of his death certificate, and articles related to Mr. Goldsmith.
