Ten Plays from Zora Neale Hurston

I'm a Zora Neale Hurston fan. I got a copy of her short story collection, Spunk, when I was in high school and read it about a thousand times. Great writing. If you've never read any Hurston, now's your chance. The Library of Congress has put up ten plays from Hurston at http://lcweb2.loc.gov/ammem/znhhtml/ .

As with most LOC collections, you may search by keyword or browse by (play) title. Spunk is one of the titles here. I picked it and got a listing of information about the play (source, when it was registered for copyright, and the collection where it appears). Above that are links to view page images of the play. There were no transcriptions that I could see, but since the plays are typed and easily readable it doesn't matter.

In addition to the plays and the search engine, the site also has a chronology of Hurston's life and some additional information.
