February 20, 2004Conjugate Verbs in 100 LanguagesI can't imagine using this in my day to day Web research, but it looks like a fun resource for you language junkies. The Web version of Verbix, at http://www.verbix.com/webverbix/ , allows you to conjugate verbs in 100 languages, including Esperanto and Klingon. The front page has a list of the languages. Pick one. You'll get a brief description of the lanuage and instructions on how to deal with special characters (including unique character sets like the Devanagari script of Hindi.) Enter a verb (or choose one of the top ten verbs conjugated.) Verbix shows a table of the verb conjugated several different ways (Indicative, Conjunctive, Conditional, and Imperative) a list of other words in the same languages which are conjugated like the verb you chose, and the verb's equivalent in other languages.
