Get RSS Feeds from the Open Directory Project

The Open Directory Project is great, but keeping up with new additions to it is a huge pain in the tuckus. xmlhub.com has a lovely solution that problem with a tool that generates two flavors of RSS feeds based on ODP content. They're both available at http://www.xmlhub.com/odp_feed.php (and a tip o' the nib to SC for the pointer.)

The first tool allows you to get an RSS feed based on a keyword search. You can keyword search the entire directory or limit your search to one of the top level categories. The second tool allows you to turn an entire directory into an RSS feed. Be sure you enter the category information in the right format, however, or you'll get an empty feed. I'm going to make a few of these and drop them into Newsgator to see how they work.
