Meta Search Engine Mamma Makes Some Upgrades

Search Engine Mamma announced last week that they've added some functionality to their meta-search engine. New features include:

- Search Math -- I've never heard it called "Search Math" before, but all right. It's simply the ability to use + signs to include query words, - to exclude words, and quote signs ("") to denote phrases.

- Power Search Options -- You can customize the description length of results (short, long, none)which basically takes you from one extreme of title, URL, and snippet to just title and URL (short gives you a short snippet). You can also choose to have your query terms highlighted in the results, and choose the number of results per page (up to 1000.)

I haven't used Mamma ( http://www.mamma.com ) that much, mostly because I tend not to use meta-search engines. When I do I usually use SurfWax or Vivisimo. But I like the selection of search engines here -- it includes Google, Teoma, Open Directory and Business.com. How about Gigablast? Not a bad news search, either. I might have to experiment with this one a bit more.
