March 19, 2004A Museum Devoted to MicrocarsNo, not Mini Coopers. Even smaller. The The Bruce Weiner Microcar Museum contains examples of the mini cars that were built in Europe after WWII. The museum has a large collection of them, available for viewing at http://www.microcarmuseum.com/ . I found the virtual tour's tour index to be a good overview of what's available. Here you'll find a list of cars available at the museum, from the 1960 Alicante to the 1958 Zundapp Janus. Click on a car and you'll get several pictures, an overview of the car model, and some technical stats about the car, including length, width, weight, horsepower, and motor. In addition to the car listings, this site also has a small collection of videos and information on a couple of microcar events. Posted to Business-Transportation-Auto | TrackBack
