Shakespeare's, Other Famous Wills Available Online

(Get it? Shakespeare? Will? Prithee? Whee!) The UK National Archives have released a series of Famous Wills -- including William Shakespeare's -- at their DocumentsOnline Web site. The direct link is at http://www.documentsonline.pro.gov.uk/PROB1wills.asp . In addition to Shakespeare other wills at this site include Sir Francis Drake, Sir William Blackstone, Lord Horatio Nelson, and Oliver Cromwell. The wills, over 100 of them, are presented in lists of ten in tables which include description, date, catalog refernce and details link.

The Details link provides information about the size of the document and price for a PDF file -- the ones I looked at were £3. Shakespeare's will is available from this site as a free download.
