Hidden Landmarks, Weird Places in Meatspace

You know what meatspace is, right? It's where humans live. Hampton has launched a directory of the weird part of meatspace at the Hidden Landmarks Web site, http://www.hamptonlandmarks.com . Here you can search for hundreds of way out places in several categories.

You can select either a state or a region (south, west, etc.) to search from. After that you can search all categories or narrow it to one of any or all other categories: movies, sports, history, pop culture, etc. I searched all categories in Indiana and got eight landmarks, from the kinda interesting ("On March 31, 1880, Wabash became the first electrically lighted city in the world.") to
the sad ("Elvis Presley gave his last concert at Market Square Arena on June 26, 1977.... The marker is in a gravel parking lot where the arena stood...") Click on the name of the landmark and sometimes you'll get a picture of it and offline contact information. And of course you'll get a link to find the nearest Hampton Inn.
