Maine State Archives Launches Online Service

The state of Maine last week announced an online service to make it easier for visitors to find documents from Maine's archives. You can access it at http://www.informe.org/sos_archives/.

There are several different databases available from here, including photographs, maps, and Moving Images, Motion Pictures. You can also do a general search across all databases.

A all-databases for lobster found results across many of the databases, including 104 results in photographs. Note that this is just a finding aid -- I didn't find any photographs or complete records online.
