Naropa University Teams Up With Internet Archive

Naropa University has teamed up with the Internet Archive to provide online access to its collection of audio recordings. The recordings represent 30 years of classes, lectures, and other presentations by literary figures who have participated in Naropa University writing programs.

The archive is accessible at http://www.archive.org/audio/collection.php?collection=naropa . At the moment there are about 150 hours of audio available including Allen Ginsberg, William Burroughs, Diane diPrima, etc. You can either search the archive by keyword or browse the most-heard recordings or the recordings with the top "batting averages."

A keyword search on Whitman found 11 results, the first being "Allen Ginsberg class on Walt Whitman and William Wordsworth - Part 1." detail pages provide date or recording and an overview of the recording, as well as downloads in several different file formats (Ogg Vorbis, WAV, MP3, etc.)
