June 02, 2004XML Feed Listings and a Special Syntax from the Open Directory ProjectAs I think I've mentioned, the Open Directory Project (DMOZ) is now offering RSS feed listings. Look at the listings at the end of the category, and you'll see a separate listing for XML feeds. RSS and Atom feeds are both represented here. In addition, the Open Directory Project is now offering a special syntax! Hooray! As the ODP Weblog notes (at http://dmoz.theblob.org/dmoz/journal.cgi/1085629544.html ), all you've got to do is enter in a domain name (domain.abc , no www) and you'll get pointers to all pages in that domain which are listed in DMOZ, as well as a listing of some categories containing those pages. Searching for Google.com found 115 matches and five categories, while searching for Yahoo.com found 10,000 listings and five categories. Posted to Search Engines-DMOZ | TrackBack
