Ask Jeeves Parties Like It's 1999

SF Gate Article on AskJeeves. What's with the 1999 bit? How else would you describe the creation of a balloon for the Macy's parade? From the article: "Unconstrained by financial worries, Ask Jeeves, based in Emeryville, has initiated its most aggressive phase yet. Over the past few months, the company has made two major acquisitions and introduced new features that signal its intent to grab a bigger piece of a search market pie." I don't think the acquisitons are finished yet...
