July 28, 2004MSNBC Launches MSNBC NewsbotMSNBC announced on July 27 the MSNBC Newsbot, which is an extension of Microsoft's news search. The MSBNC 'bot is available for a "limited time" and searches over 4,800 news sources. It's available at http://newsbot.msnbc.msn.com/ . I think it's interesting that a news source is adding a way to search other news sources. Anyway, You can either search the news here by keyword or you can click on the stories you like and the Newsbot will suggest other ones. Unfortunately the search output seems to be in a Web page only -- no RSS feeds here. The result page does a running history of your searches, though, making it easy to flip back and forth between results. Posted to Publications-Search | TrackBack
