August 23, 2004Fagan Finder Launches URL Information ToolMichael Fagan continues his reign of awesomeness with a really nice tool for getting information on an URL. And I'm talking all kinds of information -- development, cache, everything. Check it out at http://www.faganfinder.com/urlinfo/ . It starts out simple; enter an URL in the box at the top of the screen. From there, you'll see a series of tabs at the top of the screen. There's a tab for General information (Alexa stats, PageRank, page count, text analyzer, etc.), a tab for caches (from several different sources, including Google (two kinds), Gigablast, and the Internet Archive), a tab for developers (several different flavors of validation) and a tab for blogs and feeds (find 'em in that domain.) You can get all that information about a specified URL from this one page. In some cases you'll have to enter in an URL or do some other typing, but for the most part the tool handles all that. Very, very nice. Well done Michael. Posted to Internet-Reference | TrackBack
