September 13, 2004Findory Offers Personalized-News-Alerts-Inna-BoxFindory ( http://www.findory.com ) has been mentioned in ResearchBuzz before; it's a Web site that provides personalized news based on the headlines you view. Now it offers personalized news based on what you pick -- online you can put the personalized news in a box on your own Web site. You'll have to have an account on Findory for this to work (which is free, but don't lose your password or you'll have to get a new account). Once you've logged in and picked some news to personalize your news display, choose Inline News. You'll see options to set up JavaScript news boxes for your site; either personalized with your news preferences or unpersonalized with the top news stories. (You can get the unpersonalized top stories without being logged in.) Findory also offers RSS feeds in most popular personalized and most popular unpersonalized, in case you'd rather view them in your aggregator. Posted to Publications-Search | TrackBack
