Another Searchable Subject Index of Blog-Related Sites

I know, I know. I could sit here all day and do writeups of blog-related Web sites. But the reason I'm choosing to cover LS Blogs ( http://www.lsblogs.com/ ) is their nice blog directories/search engines category.

The listing of Weblogs on this site is less than 150; I wouldn't bother much with it. The software listing contains hosted solutions, install yourself, etc -- that's okay. The Forums categories has ten listings, rather nice (these are forums to discuss blogging, not forum software you integrate into a 'blog. In case you were wondering.)

But I really did like the blog directories and search engines category, which contained 60 listings. Listing in this category and other category contain a screen shot of the site, title, description, and a more details link. The more details link doesn't have a whole lot of extra information except for a way to report a bad link.

The listings here are fun; there's a directory of Weblogs by author age. There are many location-organized blog directories. There's a journalist blog listing, a listing of blogs by professors -- in other words there are directories and search engines which slice and dice directories in many different ways. Good stuff.
