South Dakota Creates Search Engine for Documents

The South Dakota State Library now has a search engine for state documents, as mentioned in an Associated Press article.

You may search by keyword or browse by category. If you search by keyword you have the option to exclude higher education and legislative information. There's also a collection of digitized state documents at http://www.sodaklive.com/edoclib.htm. Right now
available documents include "Hughes County History: Compiled and Arranged in the Office of County Superintendent of Schools, Hughes County, So. Dak., 1937" and "South Dakota Library Bulletin: 1913-1963 50th Anniversary of the South Dakota State Library Commission and Histories of South Dakota Libraries by their Librarians. Vol. 49, 1963". "Compiled Laws of the Territory of Dakota, 1887" is coming soon.
