Another Travel Search Engine -- Mobissimo

The travel search engines just don't stop. A new one is Mobissimo, a travel meta-search source that searches over 80 search sources for airfare, hotel, and car rental information.

The search engine is available at http://travel.mobissimo.com/travel/search_airfare.php . (To search hotel reservations or car rental options, use the icons in the upper-left corner.) You specify the to and from airports, dates, number of tickets you want, and the class you want to travel. Mobissimo does the search and presents you with a list of flights including source, airline, and price (you can sort by any one of those three elements, though the default sort is on price.)

In the flights I looked at, there was a certain amount of overlap -- you'd find three cheap fares at the AirTran site and then find cheap AirTran fares at the Travelocity site, for example. There's a nice little "share the fare" feature that allows you to quickly send a link to the fare information. The overlap is a little annoying but the search is fast enough that it's not a big deal.
