November 24, 2004Business Wire FINALLY Offers RSS FeedsI follow PRNewswire and BusinessWire fairly religiously. I like PRNewswire a little bit better (it's easier to read) and I was very happy when PRNewswire started offering RSS feeds. And finally, finally, Business Wire is offering them. But theirs are unfortunately kinda limited and there's a hoop or two through which you have to jump. Business Wire is offering RSS feeds in five categories: Automotive, Health, Entertainment, Sports Business, and Travel. Journalists who want to use the service have to register ( at Business Wire) and look in the Business Wire media community section. Rrrgh. Why not make them publicly available? This is just annoying. Well, if you're not a journalist but you still want to read Business Wire as an RSS feed, give this a whirl: http://tinyurl.com/44f7o . This is a TinyURL that searches Yahoo for the phrase "Business Wire" using Business Wire as a source, and returns the results in order of date as an RSS feed. I'm not sure that this feed is complete, but since Business Wire puts a "Business Wire" tag on all their releases, it should be. You can also replace the phrase "Business Wire" with the keywords of your choice if you're interested in keyword-specific press releases, but don't try searching just for the source of Business Wire. Yahoo will ask you for keywords. Posted to Business-Ads and PR | TrackBack
