Tne Encyclopedia of Fake Bands

Sure sure, you can go look up those bands that REALLY exist, but how about those bands which only exist in people's imaginations! Check out the Fakebandica, at http://www.fakebands.com/ , an encyclopedia of fake bands that appear in TV and movies (and not books, etc. The site keeper is very clear about that.)

The site is alphabetical and also searchable. I went and looked for The Band With Rocks In, which was in the TV adaptation of Soul Music. They were there. I went and looked at the Gs to see what was there and found G-Dog to Tommy Gunn. Each listing is at least briefly annotated ad some entries have longer write-ups and additional information. A fun timesink.
