A Collection of Digitized Books About Books

Oak Knoll Press has put together a collection of digital books about -- books. These books cover bookbinding, collecting, design, illustration, etc. The collection is free and available at http://www.oakknoll.com/digitalbooks.php . Some of the books appear to be hosted by Oak Knoll, while other listings are pointers.

All the books are listed on one page, from STUDIES IN BIBLIOGRAPHY, PAPERS OF THE BIBLIOGRAPHICAL SOCIETY OF THE UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA to PALAEOGRAPHY, NOTES UPON THE HISTORY OF WRITING AND THE MEDIEVAL ART OF ILLUMINATION. Each listing has the publisher, date of publication, and description. Click on the "View Digital Book" link and you'll get taken to the digital book, but the format varies depending on where the book is coming from. I saw one raw text, one that tried to download as a DOC file, and one that was some kind of proprietary format that I had a tough time with.
