Database of Baby Names

Don't know what to name your kid? Are you all at sea since Gwyneth Paltrow named her child Apple? Visit Think Baby Names ( http://www.thinkbabynames.com ) for a dose of inspiration.

You can browse the names alphabetically, and you can look at lists for popular names for both boys and girls. But the cool part is the search. You can search for names, sure, but you can also search by meaning, prefix, or suffix.

A searched for a name meaning strong. I got a list of girl's names (there's a link at the top of the search result to switch to boy's names) from Adira to Valerie. Each search results lists the meaning of the name, but clicking on the hyperlinked name provides additional information, including origins of the name, popularity in the US, and a chart showing the trending popularity of the name in the US and parts of Europe.
