Thomson Gale Offers Black History Month Resource

Thomson Gale is offering a free Web site for Black History Month. It's available at http://www.gale.com/blackhistory .

Resources here include activities for different grade levels, biographies, links, and a timeline. New biographies this year include Reggie White, Ray Charles, Barack Obama, and Shirley Chisolm.

There's another new offering this year too, a free downloadable wall calendar that covers the month of February as Black History Month. It's in PDF format, and each day has a fact from African-American history.
