Directory of Corporate RSS Feeds

If you want to get a little beyond the idea of RSS feeds for each of the eight bazillion independent 'blogs out there, check out Nooked, which is for corporate RSS feeds and is searchable and browsable. It's available at http://dir.nooked.com/home.dir .

The directory is fairly standard, with Yahoo-like top level categories. I did a keyword search for IBM and got one result. The result listed the name of the company, linked to the Web site, and provided the names and links for available feeds, in this case one: product support. There's also a one-sentence description of IBM.

Well, just one result is no fun so I did another search, this time for database. I got four results. Only the last one, MySQL, had more than one feed, and it had four: All, Press Releases, Media Coverage, and Testimonials.

RSS feeds are still slowly entering the radar of corporate entities, and I think Nooked has started this directory in time to create a useful resource if they can keep up with the flood.
