Jamaica Gleaner Archives Available Online

The Jamaica Gleaner has announced ( http://www.jamaica-gleaner.com/gleaner/20050228/lead/lead2.html ) that their archives are now available online. Their archives go back to 1834 -- that's over 170 years of archives. Whew.

You can get to them by logging on to http://gleaner.newspaperarchive.com . Access to the archives costs $7.95 a day, $29.95 per quarter, or $49.95 per year.
