Yahoo Directory RSS Feeds?

Big props to Antville ( http://ast.antville.org/stories/1059791/ ) for pointing this out. Looks like Yahoo is now offering RSS feeds for some of their directory sites. You can get a list of the available feeds at http://dir.yahoo.com/rss/dir/index.php .

If you want to monitor the possibilities, the Google search inurl:getrss inurl:dir site:yahoo.com will also find these feeds. I tried to look at the format for Yahoo's RSS parser and figure out if the other directories of information were also available in RSS format, but they look like they're not.

Another great addition to Yahoo's RSS plans. I'd be even more enthusiastic if the Yahoo Directory had struck me as more active within the last couple of years. I'd love to see the directory revitalized; there's room for both searchable subject indexes and full-text search engines online.
