A Yahoo Traffic / Google Maps Mashup

I love musical mashups and I'm starting to really love Web services mashups. The latest is a groovy item called Google-Yahoo Traffic Maps, available at http://supergreg.hopto.org/google-yahoo/.

The site warns that this doesn't work in Safari, but it did fine in Mac Firefox. Enter a traffic search -- city, state, or zip. I entered 90210. You'll get a Google Map, with Yahoo traffic information icon on top of it -- construction signs, hazard signs, whatever. Click on an icon and you'll get a popup window of information about the construction or road closure or whatever. The only problem is that sometimes the icons are so thick (this was especially true in 90210!) that it's hard to click on the right one.

If anybody else out there is trying to think of a good Google Maps mashup to do, I have a suggestion for you -- make a Google maps icon that integrates information from GasBuddy! I would love to be able to plan out a route and get pointers to the cities where the gas is cheapest, rather than end up pay 15 cents more a gallon because I guessed wrong, as happened a couple weeks ago.
