FyberSearch Tutorial Search Engine

FyberSearch has released a specialty search engine to find tutorials and lessons. It's available at http://tutorial.fybersearch.com .

Unfortunately it's a bit thin at the moment; I did a search for Perl and got only one result. For JavaScript I got ten results. Over on the right are elements related to the search (in the case of JavaScript the elements included CSS, Tables, and Scripts) that you can add or remove from the search on the fly. There's also an option at the top of the page for restricting results to the "official site," though I'm not sure what that would be in the context of JavaScript. If you have a tutorial you want to add to the site you can do it at http://www.fybersearch.com/add-url.php .

As long as you're at FyberSearch check out the sentence search at http://wt.fybersearch.com/index.php . Here you can do a search and get sentences related to your search (instead of page summaries or snippets, you get single sentences.) I did a search for Google search and got 20 results, from "Google search CAN improve productivity." to "Search IS Google s core competency." It looks like the search finds all words in the same sentence so you have to be careful what you search for. In addition to the sentence search results also include the URL from which the sentence came.
