Get Reference Help from Oregon Librarians

The state of Oregon has an online resource for asking questions of librarians. Actually it has two networks: one for adults and one for kids. L-Net is available at http://www.oregonlibraries.net/ .

The resource is available for residents of Oregon only. You may either e-mail the librarians (they say they turn around questions in no more than 2 days but usually it's 24 hours) or engage in a live chat session (looks like it's a Java application?) The service is available 24/7 (excluding some holidays) but usually there are only a couple of librarians on duty at a time. If you try to use the service while the librarians are already asking questions you will be put "on hold".
