May 16, 2005MSN Deskbar Hits Final ReleaseMSN has announced the final release of what it's now calling the MSN Search Toolbar with Windows Desktop Search. The announcement is available at http://blogs.msdn.com/msnsearch/archive/2005/05/15/417691.aspx while the product itself is at http://toolbar.msn.com/ . Of course you will need Internet Explorer to use the Toolbar. Among the features in the Search Toolbar are a desktop search (I'm really surprised at how popular that's getting; I never had problems with the plain ol' search that comes with Windows), and an automatic form filler (that always makes me a little uncomfortable, but at least you'd be able to turn it on and off.)
