PubMed Going RSS

Yippie Skippie! PubMed is going to start offering RSS feeds, as they indicate at http://www.nlm.nih.gov/pubs/techbull/mj05/mj05_rss.html . They're not available yet, but here's the quick skinny -- you'll do a PubMed search as usual. Then on the results page you'll see several pulldown menus allowing you to adjust the results -- how many, how they're sorted, what's showing, etc. There's a pulldown menu called "Send To". Eventually (not right now) the Send To pulldown will include RSS Feed, which will send you to a page with a couple more options and then to an orange XML tag. The next step after that, for me, will be to monitor the RSS feed in conjunction with a couple of alerts I have at Science.gov and see how much overlap there is.
