Track Harry Potter Parties Online

Counting down the days until the next Harry Potter book is released? All ready to celebrate? Information about over 150 "Potter Parties" around the world -- parties to celebrate the release of the next Harry Potter book -- are cataloged and listed at http://www.potterparties.com .

The number of parties and a list of countries are available to the right of the front page (most of the parties are in the US.) But actually seeing where the parties are requires a pull-down menu at the top of the main page. The pulldown menu for the US lists all the parties on one page, in an order I can't fathom. Party information on the list page includes name of the party, location, city/state, and date/time.

Click on a result and you'll get additional information about the party, including organizer name and phone number, information on activities, whether or not the party costs anything, whether the book will be available and how much it will cost, and whether there will be Internet access at the party (?)

In addition to the list of parties there's also an extensive form to add your own party. There are also tips for activities, recipies, and decorations for Potter-themed party. The site also promises that featured Potter Parties and a poll are coming "soon".
