Yahoo News Tag Style

Oh, this is adorable. Love tags? Can't get enough of that folksonomy goodness? Then you're gona love Yahoo Tag Soup, available at http://yahoo.theherrens.com/index.php .

Basically it's an overview of Yahoo's news in Tag format -- that is, a big box of words with words larger, smaller, more emphasized, etc depending on how popular they are. Click on a tag and you'll get a list of stories containing that tag. Each story contains a headline, summary, and list of other tags relevant to the story. Clicking on the story takes you to the story in the same window. Click on one of the other tags for a new list of stories, etc.

If you're at all geeky be sure to check out how it was done, which you can get at http://yahoo.theherrens.com/index.php?display=about. Nicely done, though some of the tags are a bit odd (Wednesday Night? Thursday Night?)
