Bloglines Hits 500 Million Article Mark

Bloglines ( http://www.bloglines.com ) has announced that their index now contains 500 million blog and news feed articles. That's interesting, but what really blows my mind is that they doubled their index size between January and June of 2005. Also that they're adding between 2 and 2.7 million articles to the index a DAY.

I expect that's going to do nothing but ramp up over time. What I'd like to see therefore is more effort to break out the blogs. Can an effort be made to identify corporate blogs, product-supporting blogs, blogs that contain over x percent of their entries as media enclosures, etc?
