June 10, 2005NetMechanic Upgrades to Version 3.0NetMechanic, which I feel like I've been using for about fifty years, recently announced an update to version 3.0, which now incorporates Firefox. NetMechanic, if you're not familiar with it, allows Webmasters and designers to check Web sites for a variety of characteristics including HTML errors, page download time, browser compatibility, image optimization. Some of these services are free to try and some of them are pay services only. It's available at http://www.netmechanic.com . The NetMechanic HTML Tool Box has been updated, and will now include larger numbers of pages per scan for larger Web sites, and also offers more extensive customization options. The NetMechanic Browser Photo service offers 24 browser and OS combinations so you can see what your site looks like in a wide variety of settings. And as I said it in the first paragraph, it now incorporates Firefox. Posted to Internet-Tools | TrackBack
