Ask Jeeves Jettisoning the Butler

Computerworld is reporting that Ask Jeeves has decided to get rid of the butler in Ask Jeeves, renaming the search engine to Ask.com or something else.

It's sad that this happens after the many improvements in AJ over the years, and after all the Wodehouse drama they had to go through. But seriously, if I had to pick a Wodehouse character to name a search engine after, it would be either Galahad, PSmith, or Uncle Fred. Now there were guys who had answers!
