October 04, 2005PR Newswire Gets With the RSS FeedsPR Newswire has announced more RSS feeds for its content. The publicly-available feeds are only available by category -- in other words they're not keyword-based, but that's okay. You have other options for keyword-based PR Newswire feeds as you'll see in a moment. PR Newswire's feeds are available from http://www.prnewswire.com/rss/ . There's a podcast feed and a 'blog feed, and then underneath that are feed links divided by industry category and sub-category, with a few additional feeds for trade show releases, video releases, new products and services, and a raw feed for all releases from PR Newswire. If you're looking for keyword-based PR Newswire feeds, you've got two choices. First choice is to take the raw feed at http://rss.prnewswire.com/ and run it through FeedShake, FeedDigest, or another feed aggregator, and filter it by the keywords for which you want to search. Instant keyword-based feed. Your second option is Google News. Go to Google News and do a search with this query: [keyword] source:pr_newswire__press_release_ Where [keyword] is the topic keyword(s) for which you're searching. Choose RSS for the search results and there's your keyword-based PR Newswire feed. Have fun.
