The Texas State Library and Archives Commission Starts Blog

Okay, they call it an online news forum, but it looks to me like a blog complete with RSS feed -- and there's nothing wrong with that! Anyway, the new resource (announcement is here) is called The Open Record and it's available at http://www.tsl.state.tx.us/theopenrecord/. (Is this running on WordPress?)

It's new so there's not a whole lot here yet. Entries include "Protecting the Sam Houston Center’s Archives after Hurricane Rita", recollections on a tour of the Vatican archives, and an announcement of a new online exhibit devoted to presidents of the Republic of Texas.
