November 09, 2005ResearchBuzz Roundup 070905Want to make a Google logo using Photoshop? Find out how at http://www.tutorials1.com/googlelogo.php! There do not appear to be additional instructions on what to do if Google smacks you with the C&D stick. Stephen Abram, whom I saw speak at Computers in Libraries (and he was most excellent) has an article called "32 Tips to Inspire Innovation for You and Your Library" that's in three parts. Part 1 is at http://www.imakenews.com/sirsi/e_article000423643.cfm , part 2 is at http://www.imakenews.com/sirsi/e_article000436456.cfm , and part 3 is at http://www.imakenews.com/sirsi/e_article000458643.cfm . Good stuff. More Flickr toys -- Motivator, at http://flagrantdisregard.com/flickr/motivator.php, allows you to use a Flickr image or an image from another source to make one of those "Motivation" type posters. And it actually worked! (I could never get the one that made "Magic: The Gathering" cards to work.) Once you've generated the poster you have the option to upload it to your Flickr account. Oh my. How cool can you get. Risk played on a Google Map at http://www.ashotoforangejuice.com/gmrisk.html. Posted to | TrackBack
