November 26, 2005ResearchBuzz Roundup -- 112605An article at KVIA points to a new database that allows residents of New Mexico to check out the state's public water supplies online. The site check's at http://eidea.state.nm.us/SDWIS/. Digg, Slashdot, and del.icio.us -- all mashed up on one page -- groovy! Check it at http://diggdot.us/. Outdoor cams on a Google Map! Pick a state and away you go. Click on a camera image and the latest cam image pops up. I did see one that looked like it hadn't been refreshed for several months, but other than that they were fresh. Now I gotta see if I can find some snow... http://conversationswithmyself.com/maps/aws/gmapAWS.html. AskSam continues with the Shakespeare -- this time with Julius Caesar in a searchable AskSam database or eBook: http://www.asksam.com/ebooks/Shakespeare/Julius_Caesar.asp. And speaking of Google Maps, find an ATM by specifying a zip code and optionally a bank name. You'll get a Google Map of ATMs in the area. Can't believe how many ATMs they can cram in one zip code. Click on a pointer and you'll get a popup with the name of the bank and the name of the business/place where it's located, along with links to directions to and from there. http://demo.raketek.com/atm/.
