More Census and Genealogy Records Available for Scotland

Scotsman.com has the details about some new
census/genealogy offerings from Scotlandspeople. New materials available on the site include censusrecords from Scotland from 1841 as well as other documents relevant to genealogy (birth and death records, etc.)

Scotlandspeople is available at http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/. Surname searching (you can additionally narrow your searching by year) is free, but to view records requires a membership. See the payment and access portion of their FAQ for details.
