September 27, 2003GooTopGet search results only from the top of domains. Gets Google to act more like a searchable subject index and less like a full-text search engine. This search returns the results only from the top of a domain. In other words, it'll find results from http://www.researchbuzz.com but not from http://www.researchbuzz.com/news/ . Please do not enter anything in the key box if you don't have a key; otherwise you'll get no results. Note: If you get a "no search results" message for a search that you'd expect results, this may be because the key has been used up for the day. Sigh. 1000 queries at ten results each isn't a whole lot, is it? GooTop is from the O'Reilly book Google Hacks. Check out the books in the O'Reilly Hacks Series: Google Hacks
