Dietary Supplements Search Tool from Mayo Clinic

Mayo Clinic has added a search tool of 86 herbs, vitamins, and other supplements to its Web site. It's available at http://www.mayoclinic.com/findinformation/druginformation/index.cfm , in the second search box.

You may search by keyword or browse the list alphabetically. I looked up Cohosh and got one match for Black Cohosh. Information includes an overview, synonyms (with a comparison between Black and Blue Cohosh) Uses based on scientific study (along with a letter grade for the evidence for that use), uses based on tradition or theory, dosage, safety issues, and selected references (in this case a huge bibliography.)
